Reach For The Stars In The 2022-2023 Term

District Director Blog Post

As we kick off the new Toastmasters year, I want you to reflect on your self-development goals. Why did you join Toastmasters? To improve your presentation skills, become a persuasive speaker, gain confidence, or learn how to express yourself in a clear and concise manner?

For me it was all of the above. The good news is when you invest in yourself by joining and participating in your club meetings you will improve your communication skills. Even better, you will discover hidden talents as you embark on your Pathways education program journey.

I encourage you to set high goals, reach for the stars, which in Toastmasters is to become a Distinguished Toastmaster. A DTM designation represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. You will develop valuable soft skills that are not easily acquired elsewhere. Where else for $90.00 a year will you have the opportunity to learn and grow these marketable skills?
