Tamala Takahashi was the Toastmasters District 52 Director in 2014-2015. She is also a Distinguished Toastmaster and has been a Toastmaster for 14 years. In that time, she has served in every club officer role, sponsored two clubs, and mentored 3 clubs. She’s also served as area director (and awarded area director of the year), division director, Program quality directer, District director, corporate club extension chair, Pathways chair, and many other events and chair positions.

Tamala is a non-profit leadership consultant and an active volunteer in her community. She currently serves on a number of boards and commissions, including the Burbank Infrastructure Oversight Board, the Magnolia Park Merchant Association, the Burbank Human Relations Council, and the Burbank Kiwanis Board. Tamala is a certified John Maxwell Coach and is the owner of High Bridge Solutions, a consulting firm for non-profits and leaders who want to improve the world around them. She is also a graduate student of community psychology at Antioch University and will be running for Burbank City Council in 2022.
