Throughout the 96-year-old history of Toastmasters International, our members have always prided themselves in the ability to elect the leaders throughout our organization. We have selected our club leaders and all the way to our International Leaders—these International leaders who make decisions that affect our organization on a global scale.
We, as toastmasters, will once again have an opportunity to elect our International Leaders to help guide the direction of our organization from a Global point of view.
From August 23-28th, Toastmasters members from around the world will once again gather for our International Convention. Here we will celebrate our successes as individuals and begin looking towards the future. I invite you, my fellow Toastmasters to attend and be part of this event.
On August 26th, we will get a chance to vote for our Leaders in the Business Meeting / Election held during the conference. I ask that every club President / Secretary cast their votes or assign their proxy votes to the District Director. The Trio members have begun interviews with those running for international positions and know that they have done their due diligence to make the right decisions.
