Program Dates: August 1 – September 30
In honor of the founder of Toastmasters, Ralph Smedley, this membership campaign is conducted every year. The campaign is run to promote membership growth in Toastmasters. This is done by adding new members. As the first campaign of the year, the Smedley Award will be awarded to any club which adds five new, dual, or reinstated members from August 1 to September 30.
If a club qualifies for this award during the campaign, the club will be receiving a Smedley Award ribbon, which you can display on your club’s banner. In addition, qualifying clubs can also earn a unique discount code for 10% off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)
In addition to the club ribbon and 10% discount Toastmasters International is offering, In appreciation for all your hard work in helping grow membership, District 52 will also award the club with a $100 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store. This gift certificate may be used to purchase anything the club decides on at the Toastmasters Store.
